Loy Krathong
La pleine lune du 12ième mois lunaire marque une des principales fêtes populaires de Thailande: Loy Krathong. Pour cette occasion, les Thaïlandais abandonnent à leur sort, sur les différentes rivières du pays des Krathongs où petits bateaux en forme de fleur de lotus réalisés avec des feuilles de bananiers. Cette charmante tradition s’appelle aussi le festival des lumières. Elle célèbre les cours d'eau et marque le très grand respect qu'ont les thailandais de la nature. Ils remercient la nature tout autant qu'ils s'excusent du mal qu'ils lui font durant l'année.
Le 12th full moon is the time for one of the most popular Thai feast: Loy Krathong. This is the occasion for Thai people to float on the rivers of the country small Krathong or boats, which look like the lotus flower, and which are built with banana tree leaves. This nice feast is called as well the feast of the lights. It is a great celebration of rivers and lakes and demontrates the great respect that the Thai people has for the nature. They thank the nature in the same time they appologize for the harm they made the all year long.
Ma chérie et moi avons alors élaboré deux petites embarcations à base de feuilles trouvées dans la forêt de Compiègne et ainsi qu'en deshabillant un platane du centre ville! Plus quelques fleurs et voici le résultat:
We made 2 small boats with leaves we found in the forest next to Compiegne as well as in a plane tree in downtown! With few flowers and here is the result:
Ah oui! il ne faut pas oublier d'y ajouter une bougie et des encens (3) en signe de respect pour la rivière.
Oh! we must not forget to add a candle and incenses (3) as a sign of respect for the river.
Une fois la nuit tombée, Zou... il faut allumer les encens et la bougie et mettre à l'eau:
After nightfall, ... we should light the incenses and the candles and put them in the water:
Et en plus ils flottent... Et plutôt bien d'ailleurs. Bon ce soir l'Oise était plutôt tranquille... Mais c'était plutôt sympa. Il y a un coté très nature que nous avons un peu oublié par chez nous...
